Math Teacher
Bon Air Middle School
Grade Levels: 6-8
Position begins with the 2024-2025 School Year
Responsibilities: Prepare students for the technological world in which they live; provide diverse learning opportunities using project- and inquiry-based experiences with a technology focus; utilize interactive technology programs and a variety of computing devices and digital resources to provide active engagement for students; receive ongoing training (summer and school year) in 1:1 technologies and instructional strategies; revise curriculum to meet 1:1 requirements; participate in district and building level professional development; collaborate with other 1:1 teachers.
Certification and Qualifications: Valid Indiana teaching license with middle school level (Grades 6-8) certification in mathematics; demonstration of leadership; strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration; history of using differentiated instruction; demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction.
