Overview
Seeking a dedicated, passionate, and loving teacher who has at least three years or more of experience working with children ages four and five in a preschool setting as a lead teacher. The ideal candidate should enjoy creating hands-on curriculum, have excellent classroom management skills, and be comfortable working and sharing one’s faith in a small church setting. The maximum class size is 12 students. A degree or in early childhood or elementary education is highly desired. A minimum of a CDA or similar early child certification is needed to be a lead teacher in our building.
This is a four day a week position, approximately 26.5 hours per week. The hours are 8:15 AM-3:40 PM. Classes meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Hively is a preschool, so classes run from September through May. Teachers are paid for days off from school and provided ample paid planning time each week. This is a salaried position.
This position begins in August 2025. Interviews will begin in February, with final teacher selection made by the end of March.
