Overview

Do you have 30 minutes to volunteer each week?

Marshall Traditional School PTO is about to begin our 4th year of the Reading Buddies Mentorship Program (RBMP). All first graders at Marshall get paired with an adult volunteer to meet for 30 minutes each week. Mentors and buddies read together, get to know one another, and the time helps improve our young readers’ confidence with reading. You and your buddy will be paired together throughout the school year!

If interested, you can either:

  • Complete the Google Form
  • Scan the QR code on the RBMP Flyer
  • Email RBMPmarshalltraditionalpto@gmail.com -or-
  • Call/Text Marinna at 574-339-9486

See how close we are to our goal!

If you’re unable to commit to every week, we are always in need of substitutes to help step in as needed– just reach out and let us know!

This is a great opportunity for anyone with a passion for education, working with children, or looking to give back to the local community. Time and time again, our mentors share how much they get out of the RBMP.

We’re aiming to have most mentors and buddies matched by 9/1 but feel free to still reach out if you’re interested and it’s after that date!
