Overview

The Recruiting & Retention Intern is responsible for supporting the recruitment and retention process by connecting with applicants and ensuring an efficient hiring process. This role focuses on processing applicants, maintaining high levels of associate satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with hiring laws. The intern will also engage in making recruiting calls to increase the number of interviews and successful placements within the business unit.

  • Understand the full recruitment life cycle.
  • Exposure to HR Laws and HR Tasks including offboarding, coaching, unemployment, workers compensation, and more.
  • Enhance verbal and written communication skills, particularly in professional and client facing settings.
  • Learn to engage and retain clients and associates by providing exceptional customer service
  • Gain experience managing front desk operations and contributing to overall office efficiency.
  • Learn how to use recruiting calls and various sources to boost interview rates and placements.
  • Learn how to manage through multiple tasks in a fast paced work environment.
