Overview

POSITION PURPOSE
This position serves the purpose of overseeing the use of Information technology (IT) within the agency.

 

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Set objectives and strategies for the agency’s IT needs

·       Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.

·       Oversee the technological infrastructure in the organization to ensure optimal performance

·       Direct and organize all IT-related activities

·       Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the agency can gain competitive advantage

·       Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions

·      Serve as a resource on Information Technology, troubleshoot problems related to IT, make recommendations of new technology, and serve as the point person on implementation of new technologies

 

REPORTS TO Chief Executive Officer

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum three years’ experience working with Information Technology in the ID/DD field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work independently and have high organizational skills. CPR/AED & First Aid certification required (provided by Corvilla).
