Overview

The Sales Support Intern will be part of the Michiana sales team and have opportunity to work on multiple projects and initiatives over the summer.  Projects and duties will be tailored to skills/interests of the intern but are likely to include:

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  1. CRM support – update database systems and information.
  2. Sales cycle assistance – support the sales cycle through client calls, meeting scheduling, follow up calls/emails, organizing mailings, etc.
  3. Elkhart County 4-H Fair sponsorship support:
  4. Manage event timeline.
    1. Assist with marketing preparation.
    2. Set up/tear down booth.
    3. Fill shifts.
    4. Coordinate with other volunteers to make sure goals are met.
    5. Record activities and participants in CRM for follow up.
  5. Other event support: Youth Savings Celebration, staff appreciation baseball event and/or other events as assigned.
  6. Member engagement touch points

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Currently pursuing a degree business, marketing, communication, or related field
  2. Effective verbal and written communication skills
  3. Ability to maintain motivation when working independently
  4. Eager/willingness to learn
  5. Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite
