Overview
NH is seeking a part-time, Sunday AM worship leader. NH offers dressed-down, band-led, eager-for-Jesus worship
services. We’re looking for a passionate Christ-follower to inspire and lead our worship band, engage our congregation, and
lead us in current worship tunes as we offer our hearts to Jesus on Sunday mornings.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Details:
• Sunday worship service location. 10:30 AM, 3002 W. Bloomington Rd., Champaign, IL.
• Work with senior pastor and others for worship planning. Themes, components, flow, etc.
• Worship Arts team. Schedule weekly musicians and techs. (Platform: PCO—Planning Center Online)
• Select tunes. Post tunes for musicians to rehearse. (Platform: PCO—Planning Center Online)
• Lyrics. Format lyrics for projection. (Platform: ProPresenter, using SongSelect)
• Band. Build relationships, cultivate worshipful hearts, tastefully arrange and rehearse tunes. (Rehearsal
is presently on Sundays, 8 AM.)
• Sunday Worship, 10:30 AM. Engage the congregation in heartfelt, weekly worship.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
• Prior fruitful experience in worship arts and leading worship.
• Proficiency with lead instrument and vocals.
• Excellence in team building and congregational leadership.
• A willingness to team with and learn from staff, leaders, colleagues and volunteers.
• Excellence in verbal and written communications.
• Knowledge & understanding of worship arts technology: Sound, lighting, projection, ProPresenter, streaming services, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
