Job Details

Classroom teachers at The Willows are responsible for:

  • Planning and preparing curriculum; delivering instruction; assessing and reporting student progress
  • Shepherding and caring for students as they grow in Christ-like wisdom and maturity
  • Effectively communicating with parents, school administration, and teaching staff in ways that build trust and prioritize relationships
  • Participating in personal and professional development

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; classroom teaching experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrate Christian maturity and a commitment to God and His Word
  • Support the school’s mission of providing an excellent, joyful, and Christ-centered education to South Bend area families from all backgrounds
  • Familiarity with and/or genuine interest in The Willows’ classical, whole-child, integrated educational approach
  • Eager to grow, learn, and teach in a diverse community; commitment to building bridges across lines of difference
