Meet World Missionary Press:

World Missionary Press is an interdenominational faith ministry producing 48-page topical Scripture booklets in 350 languages and growing, along with Bible study booklets and New Testaments in a variety of languages. We are producing approximately 10,000,000 Scripture booklets each month to send out free of charge as the Lord enables us financially. During our 62 years of ministry we have sent literature by request into 210 countries and islands of the world.

A roll of paper can produce 85,000 Scripture booklets at a cost of approximately $1,430. Every donated dollar on average can reach more than 20 people anywhere in the world with the life-saving, life-changing Gospel!

About the President:

The president shall be the chief executive officer of the corporation. He/she shall have general and active management of the business of the corporation and shall see that all orders and resolutions of the Board of Directors are carried into effect. He/she shall be a voting ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and all standing committees and shall have the general powers and duties of supervision and management usually vested in the office of president of a corporation.

The President’s Responsibilities Include:

Responsibilities include:

Providing leadership and direction to the organization while working to maintain its mission and vision.
Interacting with the Board of Directors (including Corporate Members), and Board committees.
Leading, managing, and developing the organization’s employees, volunteers, and organizational culture.
Developing and implementing policies and objectives.
Working with the Treasurer in managing the finances and resources of the organization.
Coordinating with the Treasurer, Finance Committee, and Board in formulating income and expense budgets for each fiscal year.
Leading the organization in strategic planning, implementation, and tracking of progress toward completion of established goals.
Leading fundraising efforts and overseeing representation of the organization to the public and the media.
Ensuring the quality of finished products, including Scripture materials produced for free worldwide distribution, as well as development-related items used in communicating with ministry partners (e.g., newsletters, brochures, videos, websites, social media posts, etc.).
What You Bring:

The following describes many of the characteristics of the ideal candidate for the President:

Qualifications:

Strong, mature relationship with Christ.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, ideally with an MBA or related advanced degree.
At least 10 years of overall professional experience with at least 3-4 direct reports in previous roles.
Prior nonprofit experience ideal; management of a global or multisite organization a plus.
Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Nonprofit board development, fundraising, marketing/branding and fiscal management experience desired.
A financially savvy and relationally astute leader with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate, and guide investment in people and systems; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making.
Excellent coalition building skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; a persuasive negotiator able to achieve consensus amongst differing opinions.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills and the experience and proclivity to be an outgoing spokesperson, relationship builder, and fundraiser.
Strong commitment to the professional development of staff; successful track record of recruiting and retaining a multi-talented team with a diversity of skills.
